Pricilla's Pocket has a series of charts (two released so far, with a third scheduled to be released at the Nashville Market next month) called Stoneware Pillows. Each chart has a collection of designs based on salt-glazed stoneware motifs. I love the simplicity of these designs, and the way they let the fabric and thread colorways take center stage.
For today's project, I selected one of the seven (yes, seven!) designs in the Stoneware Pillows II chart along with 40 count Chalice linen from Picture This Plus and Kreinik Silk Mori 5016, both from our Water Lilies box.
I'm planning to stitch one of these pillows for each of our upcoming StitchyBox shipments, because I love the idea of having a pile of them in a wooden bowl (as shown on the cover images of the charts) or a big ole vase. I'm not going to finish the pillows until I have a few more stitched up, so I can give them a unified look.
If you'd like to stitch up your own Stoneware Pillows, you can find both Stoneware Pillows I and II from your favorite needlework shop, and be sure to let them know you'd like a copy of Stoneware Pillows III when it's released next month!
Now it's your turn - what have you been stitching up this week? If you are using StitchyBox goodies in your project, be sure to tag is #stitchybox so we can see your fabulous work!
