While our most recent Halloween box was geared towards ornament projects, that's no reason to limit yourself! Check out our version of Highland Garden from Keslyns:
To stitch a Halloween Highland Garden for yourself, you'll need:
- Chart: Keslyns' Highland Garden (available from your favorite needlework shop)
- Fabric: 28 count Chai Tea evenweave (in our March 2015 box) - our model was stitched on a Fat 16th with plenty to spare.
- Threads: Valdani Life is Beautiful cotton floss, Anchor #403 cotton floss, and Dinky Dyes Boulia silk floss (all in our March 2015 box). For some extra fun, you could also add in some of the glow-in-the-dark blending filament from Kreinik!
- Beads: black Mill Hill beads (or any other color you think would match - check your stash!)
Laurie, our model stitcher, said this was a breeze to stitch - Lynda includes very detailed charts, so you know exactly what you need to do. This would be a great project for someone looking to branch out into counted thread projects.
Have you stitched a project using supplies from our March box? We'd love to see it - please leave us a comment with a link to your project!
