Every week we share a project stitched with products from our most recent StitchyBox shipment. If you'd like to see a project you've stitched in a future post, check out our Project Model Stitcher's Program!
This week's project is an adorable chart from Citrouille's Designs, customized to use some of the beads and other goodies from our Water Lilies box.
As you can see from the chart cover photo, not only did I add in some accent colors to our version of the project, but I also customized it a bit to allow me to make use of some of the fun buttons and beads included in the Water Lilies box.
I replaced the smaller potted plant with the butterfly focal bead, and added the glass pearls to the centers of the flowers along the top row, to the center of the hearts on the potted plant, and to the tail feathers of the peacock. I also replaced the single charted stitch in the middle of the pot with a glass pearl.
Lastly, I added some straight stitches to the stitched button, to give it the appearance of being sewn onto the fabric.
This won't be the last you see of this project - check back next Friday to see how I'm using the remaining designs that come in this chart to help me turn this into a box pincushion!
