Every few weeks we celebrate Throwback Thursday with a new project idea featuring goodies from our past boxes. Take a deep dive into your stash and stitch with us!
For this Throwback Thursday, I went all the way back to our very first two StitchyBox shipments to find the perfect Springy materials to stitch up my version of Quaker Berry, a Nashville 2016 release from Erica Michaels:
- Chart: Quaker Berry (Linen version), by Erica Michaels (available from your favorite needlework shop)
- Fabric: 40 count Bashful linen by Picture This Plus
- Threads: Beanstalk (Classic Colorworks Silk) Boulia (Dinky Dyes Silk)
Yes, I can hear what you are thinking - "Um, Liz? Your Quaker Berry is not very... berrylike..." I know, I know, but I wanted to show you how gorgeous these little berry charts are even before you fancy them up with the berry finishing. You could easily stitch them as little "fans" and not do the finishing at all!
But I will be doing the finishing for mine in a future Finish it Friday post, so be sure to check back for that.
Until next time, Happy Stitching!
