StitchyBox Subscription Option Changes

Happy November everyone! Today I want to let you know about a few changes we've made to the StitchyBox subscription options, effective November 1st:

  • By (big!) demand, we are now offering one-time, one-box subscriptions - this means you can sign up for a test box and not have to wait and see if we have any left over boxes available in the supply shop!
  • When you go to check out the 1 box subscription, you might also notice that our subscription pages look a bit different. We've streamlined the sign-up pages, so now there is just one page for 1 box subscription options, one page for 3 box subscription options, and one page for six box subscription options. There you can choose from a Big Picture box or a Detail Oriented box, and decide on a one-time subscription or a recurring subscription (and save an extra 5%!). All discount shown on the sign-up pages stack with referral codes, so if you have one, make sure you use it!
  • We've also added an option for Big Picture boxes - you can now choose to receive a Fat 16th of 28-32 count evenweave and a Fat 16th of 28-32 count linen for those that prefer a lower count but don't like Aida. If you are already a StitchyBox subscriber and would like to switch your subscription over, please email me directly at, and I can make the switch for you.

We've also made the change over to new payment processor for our recurring subscriptions - all new subscriptions will start with the new processor immediately, and we will be moving existing recurring subscriptions over to the new processor over the next 60 days.

If you have any questions about these changes, or about your subscription, please leave a comment below or email me at

Happy Stitching!

Don't miss out!

Happy Friday and Halloween Eve! With the end of the month coming tomorrow, there are a few adminy things I wanted to touch on:

Just the Threads November shipment - Christmas Glitz

The deadline to sign up (or resubscribe) for Just the Threads and receive and receive our November 2015 shipment is tomorrow, October 31st. We now have recurring subscriptions available (in 1, 3, 6, and 12 month increments) at a 5% discount, so if you don't want to have to remember to sign up each month, those are definitely the way to go!

StitchyBox November/December shipment - Winter Queen

Likewise, the deadline to sign up for StitchyBox and receive our November/December box is also October 31st. Take advantage of our Halloween Stash Party and get a box for free, or use any of our regular subscription options. This coming box features a StitchyBox-exclusive colorways from Gentle Arts and a new-to-StitchyBox fabric supplier that I am very excited to introduce to you.

Reminder for Yearly Subscribers

November coming up soon means that our first yearly recurring subscribers will soon be charged for their second year. If you signed up for a recurring subscription, and would like to check on your upcoming bill date or make any changes to your plan, please feel free to contact me at

Lastly, just a note a thanks. Sunday will be the one-year anniversary for StitchyBox. We opened up shop on November 1st, 2014, and I honestly had no idea why to expect. I still remember how incredible it was to see our first subscription from someone I didn't already know! Over this past year, the support and encouragement we (and I personally) have received from you has blown me away. Thank you for supporting us, believing in us, and helping us improve. As I look forward to 2016 and the start of our StitchyBox Presents program, I am so excited to be a part of this community. Thank you, and Happy Stitching!

Sold Out!

Subscriptions for July's box are officially sold out! Since it is so close to the end of the month, we are going to start accepting subscriptions starting with September's box now.

As many of you are aware, we are a *very* small business, and at this point we are very near capacity in terms of how many subscribers I am comfortable with us handling for each box. I am opening some additional spots for September, but once we hit the magic number for September, we will have to move to a wait list. If you'd like to secure your spot for September's box, head over to the shop and sign up today.

If you previously ordered a one-time subscription that ends with July's box, please be aware that a one-time subscription does not renew, which means it also does not hold your slot for the next box after your subscription runs out. If you are signed up for a recurring subscription, your spot is held for each future box.

I would love to be able to take an unlimited number of subscriptions, but the truth is that just isn't feasible for us, nor for most of the suppliers we work with.

If you have questions regarding your subscription, or anything else having to do with StitchyBox, please feel free to email me ( Thank you all for helping StitchyBox grow!
