Our Silk Thread Short Cut Bundles contain lengths of silk thread that are not long enough to make a full skein - these come from skeining up hanks of our Flower Silk, StitchySilk, and OOAK colorways from other silk dyers. This listing is restocked on the 1st and 15th of each month, so be sure to check back!

Each bag contains over 15 grams of silk, which fills the 3x4 inch bags shown here. For comparison, an 8-yard skein of Flower Silk weighs just over 1.5 grams and costs $5.25. All the thread inside is stranded silk - the majority is 6 or 7 strands, occasionally a 12-strand silk will be included.

Inside each Bundle are thread lengths from 30 inches up to 7+yards. The majority are continuous lengths, but there are some that are cut into 30- or 60-inch lengths and bundled together. The colorways are not labeled, but if you receive one you love, feel free to send me a photo and I can probably identify it for you. The photos here show previous batches.
